I've been wearing my hair in it's natural state (curly hair 3c if you're interested) for three years now. And while I like it, it's a lot of work to take care of it. The curlier your hair the more it likes to tangle and then it likes being extremely dry. And the hair shaft will sometimes break off.
When my hair was chemically straighten I never had issues with my hair being dry or breaking mid-shaft. So, I'm going back to being chemically straightened. I don't know why I didn't think of this when I was on vacation, it would have made life a little easier for me. I'm leaning towards doing it this weekend if I have time. And I'm going to cut off any damages ends that I have.
