Here we are, November 30th. This month has gone by very fast, at least it has for me. And it's been a relatively uneventful month. I'm ready for December, it's my second favorite month behind October. I'm excited to see all the decorations and bright twinkling lights on the way home.

We have our company Christmas party next Friday on the 9th. Hopefully, we get bonus checks this year, I'm going to put it to the side and use it as a down payment on a car. I'm going to have to go to one of those pay as you go places. I already know who I want to buy my car from, his name is Pete and he's from Chicago like me. My dad somehow befriended him. And I already have a mechanic lined up as well, he name is Pete too, but I don't know where he's from; he's another guy my father befriended. Now, all I have to do is look for insurance.

Now, today is going to be one of those days in which I have no work to do, well at least for the first half of the day. I did almost three days worth of work in an eight hour shift. So, I brought my embroidery floss to work today and I will be making bracelets for my shop. 

I missed my deadline of Black Friday for posting things to my shop, oh well. I have made some other things as well. I made a yarn wrap wreath, I think I turned out nicely. I'm going to take pictures this weekend since I'll have natural light to work with. Now, all I need to do is figure out how to ship it.

A Productive Unproductive Day

There was pretty much nothing to do today. All the scanning that needed to be done was finished before 12:00pm. So, I sat at my desk surfing the internet and making macrame bracelets for my shop. Mostly likely I'll spend tomorrow making bracelets and rings to post on my shop Friday morning. I'm happy with the way the bracelets came out and they were simple to make.

I was feeling creative this morning, so I made this. A cute little bow ring. I think this will be on of the items that I add to my etsy shop this week.

Etsy Shop

I crocheted a test scarf for my Etsy shop. I haven't found another person on Etsy that sells these, or at least in this style. I was thinking of charging $20 for it. My arts and crafts friend at work said that it would be a good price and people on Etsy seem to sell their scarves within that price range.

I'm making another one now, my goal is to have a good amount of items in my Etsy shop before Black Friday so I can get some sales in. I still need to get some business cards, most likely I'll end up making them myself since I'm trying to save and make money at the same time. 

I'm going to take better pictures of my scarves on the weekend, I'll have natural light to work with instead of artificial.
