Praying Fast

I'm starting my praying fast today. I had planned on doing one, I just wasn't sure when. But, this morning when I was eating my breakfast, I eat at work, God told me to eat my lunch and finish before sunrise and fast until tomorrow morning, eat before sunrise and repeat.

I'm not sure what I'm praying for, but He told me to do it, so I am. My guess is He needs me to be concentrated and centered enough to hear what He wants me to do.

It's funny, I've always considered myself a Christian, but I was still in my I'm going to what I want when I want faze. And my life had gotten to the point where I was lost and had no idea what to do with my life. A couple months ago, I want to say August, I said "Here, take it, I'm too inept to figure out what to do with my life, so please take it and tell me what to do."

Once I did that I got a feeling of 'I've been waiting.' So, it made me feel warm and fuzzy. Then I got the name of this blog, and everything that I've wanted or needed has fallen into place within a matter of weeks and even days sometimes. I'm really excited to see what's next for me.

A profit come to church, and please understand he's the real deal. He read my father like a book, he knew my name and I wasn't even there for the reading in church. he told my father his life and the life of his family would get better in June 2011 and it did. My father went o vacation for a week and went back to his job with a raise and a promotion. I know that the profit said that something will happen on November 11th, so I'm wondering what it is.

  1. Fast and praying is so good. I have a great testimony of it. It definitely bring you closer to God and it gives you that spiritual strength that you need. I try and do a 24 hr fast once a month. It helps me a lot. Thanks for your example :)
