I stretched my second piercing from a 14g to a 12g on November 19. The right one went in fine and gave me no problems at all. The left one is giving me issues, the taper went in fine, but the plug didn't. So, it took me a while to get it in. It's oozing *boo*, but I don't think it's infected. It's not red, warm to the touch, swollen, or painful. It's just oozing. I've been to several sites trying to figure out if I need to remove the plug.

All the sites that I've been too said that if the ooze is clear or yellow it's fine and that it's lymph ooze. A lot of people get it when healing. And mine is a clear yellowy ooze, so I should be fine. I had planed on stretching a 10g this weekend; December 3rd. But, I'm going to wait until December 10th. And I'm going to do the sea salt soaks in the morning and before going to bed.

Getting Better

I am feeling so much better now. I'm walking around pain free for the most part; I still have a little difficulty getting in a out of the car. I also I got a different chair to sit in at work, and I think that it has helped a lot. I've also have been looking up exercise to strengthen my lower back, so when I'm completely pain free I will start doing those so I don't have this issue again.

I lost one of my 14g plugs yesterday. It was a really nice clear Italian glass one too. So, I'm wearing my 16g plug for the time being. I went ahead and ordered the next three sizes of tapers and plugs from Body Art Forms. According to USPS they should arrive tomorrow and I when they do I'll stretch to a 12g. I've been going up to the next size every two weeks without a problem. From what I've read you really don't feel the stretch until you hit the single digit tapers/plugs. And when you hit single digit tapers/plugs you have to wait a month until you can go to the next size. My plan for now it to stretch to a 8g, but depending on how big or small it looks will determine if I go to a 6g. Plus, you have more variety as a 6g, so I may go ahead and do that.

And today at work we having our Thanksgiving luncheon. I usually don't go, because I can't deal with that many people in one space; we have 100 employees at our branch. I'm also looking forward to next week because we have a three day work week and a four day weekend. I'm so excited, I love paid time off. I'm ready for my PJ's and comforter. Though, I'm not going to be completely unproductive, I'm going to clean my room

Ear Stretching Part III

My ear stretching is going pretty well so far. Of course that could be because I'm only at a 16g. My left ear is doing great no soreness, redness or swelling. Mt right ear was sore for a couple days, but that has subsided. This weekend I get to take them out and wash my ears really well instead of swabbing a Q-tip around base in the front and back.

When I get paid next week (November 2nd) I'm going to buy my 14g taper and 14g plugs. Hopefully, they'll arrive Friday so I can stretch on Saturday since that will be the two week mark. I'm so excited.

Ear Stretching

I stretched my ears today. I used a 16g taper (the silver needle) and 16g glass plugs from Etsy. It wasn't bad at all. The left ear was easy to stretch, the right one gave a little resistance. I'm guessing that I have more scar tissue in that ear. But, I'm going to wait two weeks and then I'll be stretching to a 14g.

I bought my first gauge size last night, a 16g. It took me forever to find a stainless steel taper in 16g that didn't cost and arm and a leg. I got my taper from Kolo Piercing for $11 (that includes shipping.) What was even harder was find plugs in 16g that were made of glass, stainless steel or titanium. 

After looking all over the place I went to etsy and found a artisan (azhotshop) that makes Italian glass plugs in 16g, those were $20 (including shipping.) I'm excited to get them, I'm hoping they'll be here this weekend, but they may not arrive until next week. 

I also put earring in my holes last night. The left hole went in easily, the right hole close up a little. But, I massaged me ear with jojoba oil to soften up my ear and the earring slid in, I'm going to wear my earrings until my taper and plug get here.

Ear Stretching

I've decided to stretch my ears. I'm going to do the second hole, and I'm going to stretch it maybe and 8g or 6g. I'm not going super huge since I work in a corporate environment. And sitting at a 8g or 6g means that when the plugs are out they look relatively normal. Also with plugs that size that look like studs from a distance.

I'm suppose to have money clear in my account today from paypal. I'm going to order the 18g through 6g from ebay. Plus, guys with plugs are so hot.
