ANTM: Cycle 17 Episode 1

Okay, who saw ANTM cycle 17 last night? I did, I did. And I was super excited. Some of my favorites returned, and I'm talking about Sheena, Laura and Angelea. I love them so much. I'm going to give a quick overview of how I feel about each contestant's personality.

SHANNON
Name: Shannon
Age: 27
Hometown: Franklin, Ohio

Age you were the first time you were on ANTM: 18 (Cycle 1)

What I Think: This woman is confused. I'm talking about her refusal to wear the lace bottoms that went with the top she's wearing. She said that panties are only for her husband. Fine I get that and I don't disagree. But, at the same time she's willing to wear bikini bottoms that show off a whole lot more than the panties did. If her argument is modesty, she should have gone with the lace bottoms, they covered her more. They even told her that she could wear the lace bottoms over the bikini bottoms if she wanted to be covered more.

BRITTANY

What I Think: Honestly, I was like the audience. I don't really remember much about Brittany, she has a nice personality. :(

LISA
Name: Lisa

Age you were the first time you were on ANTM: 24 (Cycle 5)

What I Think: While Lisa can take a nice picture if she's concentrating, most of her pictures are a little lackluster for me. And her personality is too much. I'm all for having a good time, but she doesn't seem to know when to stop. Overall she makes me nervous.

CAMILLE
Name: Camille
Age: 33
Hometown: Bronx, New York
Current Location: New Rochelle, New York
Age you were the first time you were on ANTM: 26 (Cycle 2)

What I Think: I never liked Camillie, she's a know-it-all and it bothers me. She would even talk back to the judges and refused to change her walk, even though it's horrible. Nigel made mention that her walk hadn't changed. She took some photos that were really pretty, but her personality is horrible.

 BRE
Name: Bre
Age: 26

What I Think: Some times I like Bree and other times I don't. When she's calm and she's rather enjoyable, but when she's angry that's another story. Remember when she poured that girl's energy drink down the sink because she "ate" her granola bars. She can be a little irrational at time. Perhaps she's changed though because she has gotten a lot of work recently, mainly in commercials.

 ANGELEA
Name: Angelea
Age: 25
Hometown: Buffalo, New York
Current Location: Queens, New York

What I Think: Oddly enough I like Angelea. She reminds me a lot of Sheena. Outspoken and only really gets an attitude if someone is being confrontational with her. When she first started taking pictures they were a little rough, but she has gotten better.

 BIANCA

What I Think:  Bianca is another one that I don't like. Remember how she harassed the one contestant that has Asperger's. When the had the ANTM cycle 9 reunion Tyra told her that if she had known that she was being nasty towards the other contestants she would have removed her from the competition. Her pictures are okay.

 DOMINIQUE
Name: Dominique
Age: 27
Hometown: Columbus, Ohio

What I Think: Dominque...she has a rough personality. She seems to like drama and will gladly inject herself into conflicts that have nothing to do with her.I will say that the face she gave in first photo this round was very soft and pretty.

 ISIS

What I Think:  I used to like Isis, but her personality seems to have changed for the worst. She seems arrogant to me now. In cycle 11 she seems timid, but perhaps it was because she hadn't had corrective surgery yet, so she was still unsure of herself. While, I'm glad that she's more comfortable with herself, she doesn't seem approachable anymore.

KAYLA
Name: Kayla

What I Think: I'm neither here nor there with Kayla. And everyone seemed to love her.

 LAURA
Name: Laura
Age: 22
Hometown: Stanford, Kentucky
Current Location: Los Angeles, California

What I Think:  I love Laura, she so cute and chipper. And she takes such beautiful photos. I was so disappointed when she didn't win. Plus, I love her grandma and I don't even know her, have you seen the outfits that her grandma makes. A-MA-ZING

 SHEENA
Name: Sheena
Age: 24
Hometown: Honolulu, Hawaii
Current Location: Harlem, New York
Age you were the first time you were on ANTM: 21 (Cycle 11)

What I Think:  I love Sheena too, she reminds me of Kimora Lee. A little loud, outspoken, but seems like a person that would have your back. Even when she got into arguments with the other contestants she was never nasty or mean. And whenever she got a critique and would absorb it and try to do better.

 ALEXANDRIA
Name: Alexandria
Age: 22
Hometown: Newport Beach, California
Current Location: Culver City, California
Age you were the first time you were on ANTM: 21 (Cycle 16)

What I Think:  Boo! Her personality is Boo! She acts like she know everything because she had some previous modeling experience. But, her photos didn't show that. And she refused to heed the critiques from the judges and tone herself down. Even some of the designers on the Go-Sees didn't like her.

ALLISON
Name: Allison
Age: 23
Hometown: Houston, Texas
Current Location: Brooklyn, New York
Age you were the first time you were on ANTM: 20 (Cycle 12)

What I Think: I though Allison was a little strange when she was a contestant. But, she seems like a genuinely nice person and she takes cute photos. I do agree with the judges the she tends to give the same look in all her photos, but her face photographs beautifully.

The one thing that really bothered me was Nigel's hair. I love dark hair on men, but I think he looks better with a really close cut, and this is coming from someone who loves long hair on men.
